The Open Road

Updated: 10 hours ago

On the open road, my soul takes flight

Underneath the vast expanse of sky so bright

Mountains towering, oceans wide

A symphony of nature, in which I can confide

Favorite music fills the air

As I drive without a care

Each mile unwinds, a story untold

As the beauty of the world unfolds

Through valley’s deep and canyons grand

I feel the Earth beneath my hand

The wind whispers tales of lands afar

As I gaze at each dazzling star

In this journey, time stands still

A peaceful moment, a tranquil thrill

Oh, how I wish to forever roam

Where the road is my only home

It’s not just about the car or the journey, it’s about the beauty that lies within our country, our world. Amidst our worries, stresses, bills, and responsibilities, we often forget to pause and admire the wonders of nature and all it encompasses. Ultimately, it’s the memories we create that hold significance, not the material possessions we acquire.
