Passion's Flame

Passion drives us, a fire within

A spark that lights the path we begin

It whispers softly, “Create, explore”

Unlocking doors to dreams and more

Without this flame, risks fade away

Creativity lost, dreams in dismay

But with its glow, we dare to try

To spread our wings and touch the sky

In every risk, a lesson learned

In every failure, wisdom earned

With passion’s guide, we grow, we strive

In creativity, we come alive

So, find your passion, let it lead

In every thought, in every deed

For in its warmth, you’ll surely find

A world of growth, a boundless mind

Without the big events that I've gone through, I wouldn't be who I am today. I wouldn't be full of passion, purpose, and I wouldn't have found moments of peace and happiness. Maybe if my environment was different I would've had different passions. But if my environment was perfectly healthy, would I be more like a robot and completely ignorant to the ways of the world? I've learned so much, been through so much, caused so much, that I am better able to help other's through similar struggles. From finding resources, to offering support, to being able to fully understand what someone's gone through or going through because I've been there, and more. It's impossible to not experience trauma, for anyone. We just experience different levels of trauma, and our genetics and environment define how we're going to react to what we experience. I definitely wouldn't be able to unleash my creative side without my passion, either.
