Newfound Confidence

This newfound confidence, it’s amazing to behold

I didn’t see my own beauty when I was young, I’m told

But now, men turn their heads three times when I pass by

They talk to me, open doors for me, stumble and babble, oh my

It feels good to be noticed, to be seen in public

To know that my presence has such an effect, so electric

I walk with a new swagger, a confidence so bold

I embrace my beauty, I embrace my worth, as I grow old

I radiate a certain allure, a charm that can’t be denied

I am a force to be reckoned with, no longer willing to hide

I am beautiful, I am powerful, and I am finally free

This newfound confidence has transformed and awakened me

So here I stand, head held high, and heart full of grace

Knowing that my beauty shines from deep within, in ever embrace

Men may stumble and babble, but I am no longer unseen

For this newfound confidence has given me the courage to simply be

I have never felt confident before, but now I am experiencing it for the first time and I am enjoying it.
