There once was a lamp and a toaster
Who decided to make a bold boast-er
The toaster said, “I can make bread all golden
While you just stand there, looking olden”
The lamp replied, with a gleeful glimmer
“I may not toast bread, but I’m still a winner
I light up the room with a warm glow
While you just make breakfast, didn’t you know?”
And so, the lamp and the toaster did banter
About who was the better household enchanter
In the end they realized they both had a role
One bringing warmth, the other making bread whole
You guys, I really, REALLY love, "The Brave Little Toaster." I was actually watching it when I thought of writing this. Enjoy a scene from a childhood favorite movie of mine. :)
