I get really inspired by these YouTube videos from Motiversity. They make me smile, help me parent myself, and give me encouragement when I need it the most. I can be crying all day in bed, angry, not wanting to do anything and even sick. I throw on one of their videos, and I’m going. Maybe not all day, but I’m not down, and I make sure to get something done rather than nothing on those days. A few phrases from the video that stand out to me:
Followers and likes don’t matter
Take that shit back
Even the people that don’t like you are drawn to you
They see you, but they don’t see your greatness
Everybody’s watching, give them something to see
Don’t wait for approval
Don’t feel bad
You’re not your failures
Making myself better puts me in a position to make other’s better
Trust in yourself
Start believing in what could go right
The only way out is through
The stories you wanted to tell
Crisis is not a permanent condition
It's not over until I win
You will grow through what you go through
