Dearest (Name Removed)

In gratitude and appreciation, I shall unite

A poem for you dear friend (Name Removed), shining bright

For her continued support and boundless kindness

A true companion, a gem, a touch of finesse

Thank you, dear (Name Removed), for caring so deeply

For your willingness to lend a hand selflessly

A helping hand to aid me in my move

A testament to your friendship, so true

Your thoughtfulness and care know no bounds

Not just for me, but for others around

You bring warmth and joy to those you meet

A gentle spirit that’s remarkably sweet

In Bible studies, we shared enlightening talks

Meaningful conversations, like treasured walks

I miss those moments, the wisdom you share

Thankful for the times we’ve had, so rare

(Name Removed), I want you to know how much I appreciate

Your presence in my life, it’s genuinely great

Thank you for your friendship, so kind and true

May we share more beautiful moments anew

Through ups and downs, you’ve been a guiding light

A symbol of love, compassion shining so bright

Grateful for your support, your caring ways

(Name Removed), you truly make a difference each passing day

Thank you once again, for all that you do

For the love, the care, and the friendship so true

You are appreciated, never doubt it, my dear friend

In my heart, your presence will forever transcend

This is a lovely woman from a Bible Study I used to attend while living with my, "Adoptive mother." If you've been following my blogs, then you know that I am a stickler for letting people know I love them, and/or am grateful for them. Each person comes into our lives for a reason, for a purpose. When we make them feel good about making us feel good, they're more likely to go out there and make others feel good. Hopefully those people also reach out to make them feel good, so we can continue to spread this cycle, instead of the toxic nastiness that's constantly being spread in todays society. I sent this poem to her for Christmas, 2023.
