I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to you and the entire congregation for the support you have shown me. Your church has been a beacon of hope during some of the most challenging times in my life, and your generosity has made a tremendous difference.
When I first approached your church for financial assistance, I was met with open arms and compassionate hearts. It was a refreshing experience to encounter a community that looked beyond judgments and saw the worth in every individual. Your church truly embodies the teachings of Jesus, particularly the commandment to love our neighbors as ourselves.
I wanted to share some exciting updates on how your investments in my have contributed to my personal and professional growth. In April 2023, I proudly graduated with a BS in behavioral sciences, specializing in trauma. Currently. I am pursuing a Master of Social Work (MSW) program, which will further equip me to make a lasting impact on the lives of those in need.
Additionally, I am thrilled to share that I have obtained a position on the board of directors at a local nonprofit agency. This opportunity allows me to actively contribute to the betterment of our community. Furthermore, I have connected with a remarkable woman who shares my dreams, goals, and passion for helping others. Together, we are working towards building this nonprofit to offer comprehensive support to those in need, encompassing housing, counseling, legal assistance, community engagement, and various other resources. Our long-term vision is to expand this initiative nationally, making a profound difference in the lives of countless individuals.
None of these accomplishments would have been possible without your kindness, generosity, and belief in my potential. Your support has not only empowered me to overcome adversity but has also instilled in me a deep sense of worthiness. I am forever grateful for the trust you placed in me when others turned me away.
Thank you, once again, for your unwavering support and embodying the true spirit of compassion. Your church is a shining example of the positive impact a community can make when it comes together. May your kindness continue to touch the lives of many, as it has touched me.
With heartfelt gratitude,

This letter is quite similar to another letter posted on this blog. As I've stated previously, I'm a firm believer in letting people know the good they've done. Especially when it comes to churches and their congregation's hard earned money. Letting someone know the progress you've made and where you're headed in life, will encourage these places, whether a church or other organization, to continue to help others, and to try and remain unbiased when, "Choosing" who to serve, which they often do. You also need to stand up for yourself when necessary, for the same reasons.
